Hope your time off was GREAT!
Parties, family gatherings, friends...the end of one year and the beginning of a new year is always a busy time where our thoughts, hopes and dreams are of a better new year. After all, the new year promises to be new...new business, new income opportunities and the resolutions we make and tell others about make it seem like it'll be a no brainer. Business will flow like rain water down a gutter. We'll make so much stinkin' money we'll pay off all those credit card bills, get caught up on the payments, finally put some money in the bank. Heck, we may even make an investment or two.
Sounds great!
I really hope it works out for you just like you dreamed about it while telling friends and family about those resolutions.
The hard cold reality (cold as a Polar Vortex) is that if you haven't written those goals down, worked through what you have to do to reach them on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis and reviewing them on a consistent, daily basis AND actually doing what you wrote down that needs to be done on a daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly basis; the odds are stacked against you reaching any of them. It's like hoping, wishing and praying about winning the lottery but not buying a ticket...can't win if you don't play.
I'll end this post now so you can get busy writing your goals. I would suggest you write goals in a few different areas of your life: financial, physical, personal, spiritual & family (relationship). Okay, enough reading, start writing. I'll talk with you again shortly.
